NSW:Fukushima worries to swell Hiroshima rally

Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster is expected to motivate hundreds of
people to today's Hiroshima Day rally in Sydney.

Organisers say the reports coming out of Japan are seeing people around the world make
their views on nuclear power known.

Beyond Nuclear Initiative campaigner NATALIE WASLEY says there's been a strong resurgence
of anti-nuclear activity across Australia and across Europe, as well as in Japan, and
they're expecting a large gathering for today's rally.

Hiroshima Day marks the anniversary of the dropping of the atom bomb on the Japanese
city of Hiroshima towards the end of World War II in 1945.
